This year has brought many new journeys! One being the sale of our home of 10 years to purchase a small plot of land out of town. Our little paradise. We finally get to build what we want and customize what fits for us! With that comes the fun! Pinterest is a great place to start for inspo! So many dreamy kitchens with features and design details that I couldn't even dream of, but realize how practical. The fun begins! To Amazon I go to find all the goodies. While I'm still not in my new home, it's fun to plan and organize. I love a vision board. It's also funny how much our tastes change over the years. Going back through old Pinterest pins show a quite different me from 10 years ago, but I love the look back over memory lane to what I thought was special back then. That's what fun about decor. Keep the the background classic, then sprinkle in the spice! My husband hates the idea of anything gold. He still pictures the shiny brass fixtures from grandma's dining room that people only got to see on the holidays. No. I will make it my mission to show him how chic and classic......... and homey gold can be. Mixed with classic black, white, marable and wood I can't wait to make it a forever home and share inspiration with you!
